Instructions
- 1.Lie down on the floor with your legs straight and feet up facing the ceiling. Your shoulders should be on the floor and your arms extended out in front of you, fingers pointing to the ceiling. This is your starting position.
- 2.Lift your shoulders off the floor, contracting your abdominal muscles and pushing your fingers towards your toes. Try to touch your toes if you can. Remember to keep your legs straight.
- 3.Slowly return to the starting position.
- 4.Repeat for as many repetitions as required.
Tips
- Try to keep your legs as straight as possible, but you may bend them a little if you have low flexibility.
Breathing Instructions
Breathe in during the eccentric (lowering) portion of the exercise and breathe out during the cocentric (elevation) portion.
