Instructions

  1. 1.Begin on the floor with your chest facing the ceiling, your knees bent and your feet about shoulder width apart. Lift your hips up towards the ceiling and position your hands below your shoulders. You should now be in a bridge position, this will be your starting position.
  2. 2.Lift your right leg up, straightening it in the process, while simultaneously reaching for your toes with your left hand. Do not let your hips drop during this motion.
  3. 3.Pause the contraction for a moment at the top then slowly return to the starting position.
  4. 4.Repeat the action on the other side.
  5. 5.Repeat for as many repetitions as required.

Tips

  • Keep your core engaged throughout the entire exercise.
  • Don't let your hips drop, the higher the hips, the more challenging the exercise!.

Breathing Instructions

Breathe in during the eccentric (lowering) portion of the exercise and breathe out during the cocentric (elevation) portion.
