Instructions

  1. 1.Kneel on the ground facing a high pulley cable machine, holding the rope attachment with both hands on either side of your neck.
  2. 2.Keeping your hips stationary, bend downwards, contracting your abs and driving your elbows towards your knees.
  3. 3.Pause the contraction for a moment at the bottom then slowly return to the starting position.
  4. 4.Repeat for as many repetitions as required.

Tips

  • Try and keep a constant tension in your abs throughout the whole set.
  • Always make sure there is tension in the cable through a repetition.

Breathing Instructions

Breathe out during the eccentric (lowering) portion of the exercise and breathe in during the cocentric (elevation) portion.
