Instructions
- 1.Stand up straight, holding a barbell on the back of your shoulders with your feet shoulder width apart. This is your starting position.
- 2.Keeping your back straight, bend at the waist to the left as far as you can, hold for a brief moment then return to the starting position.
- 3.Repeat the action on your right side.
- 4.Repeat for as many repetitions as required.
Tips
- Variation: you can do this exercise sititng on a flat bench.
- Perform the reps slowly and in a controlled manner.
Breathing Instructions
Breathe in during the eccentric (lowering) portion of the exercise and breathe out during the cocentric (elevation) portion.
